Scape Suites - Franklin 01 June 2023 - 11 June 2023 (11 Days) 5106 99 Franklin Street Melbourne VIC 3000 Short-Term Rental - Booked via AIRBNB We landed in Melbourne last 01/06/2023 together with my best friend. We booked a short-term rental (Scape Suites - it's the cheapest on Airbnb at the time!) since we still need to apply to lease an apartment, open an AU bank account, apply for TFN, and get a university & work ID to get settled. My first day of class was 05/06/2023. There are a lot of apartments and room shares to lease online (and scammers too! yes! we were able to transact with some scammers!) but I'm grateful to God for His wisdom in guiding us with our decision to first inspect personally the unit before making payments. My previous education consultant told me that It would take 6 months to get an apartment in the Melbourne CBD area (we've also seen this fact personally in 9News!) and we might not get any approval since we are a newcomer and we don't have any credit score yet or any rental background. But we still tried to apply for a lease rental on the 3rd day. During the rental inspection, we have a couple of people who are also applying for the same unit. It felt like it was a competition! We got approved in our lease application in a matter of just 4 days and we were told we can transfer to the apartment by Friday 09/06/2023 - a perfect date so we can still have a few days to slowly transfer all our stuff from Scape Suites to our new apartment. Indeed, God is not late or early. God is always on time! Praise God for the favor and grace!
