The Resistance video is done! It will go live this Sunday at 12 PM EDT. It's already live for patrons ;) Next up: Something more practical. Submarines maybe? Or how about nuclear power? Thank you! 🙏

It's been a rough couple of months. Including two visits and stays at the hospital. I did receive the silver play button and finally got round to unboxing it. Thank you so much for subscribing 🙏 I plan to reward your patience in the coming months. 😊

Wow, a 100,000+ subscribers. That's crazy. Sadly, my last video was in March of 2022 - meaning I won't qualify for the silver play button 😔. However, feeling that you all deserve a little sign of life: Here are a few partial screenshots from the upcoming electrical resistance video. I'm almost halfway editing, but this will again be a busy week. So no clue or promises when it will be finished. But it's still in production!

Thank you all again so much, hope to finally get this one out the door. After that, I am going to focus on some other topics. I'm quite tired to the electricity topic 😅

Onto the future! Slowly but surely.

Almost 100,000 subscribers! Insane, for a channel with so few updates. Again: I'm sorry I'm not able to post more videos more often. I'm kind of stuck on the electricity topic, mentally. Where I feel that I am obliged to finish what I started without side-stepping to other topics in the mean time. This means I've been stuck on animating the electrical resistance video for a while.

New videos will come. But it will be irregular and whenever I fancy doing one. However; the many kind comments do not go unnoticed or unappreciated! A lot of time and effort go into these productions that I make solo (mostly). Thank you so much for your attention and your subs. I will (in time) post new videos, I'm sure. 😊

Let's see what happens when one hits the 100,000 😬

I really need to hurry up and produce a new video before we hit the 100k, don't I? 😅 I'm not sure I'm going to make that...

It is a rare update from me. Hi! This past year has been a rollercoaster. Working in animation stopped being fun a while ago. Luckily; I've regained the joy in doing this work. I hope to finish the resistance video before the end of the year, but don't hold your breath ;-) See you soon, hopefully ❤️

Yes! The voltage video is done! The next video will be on electrical resistance, here's an early thumbnail (it may change). I have started researching and writing it. I'll post updates as I go along, although you'll find more in-depth updates on my Patreon. I cannot wait to get back to explaining more practical applications such as power plants, devices and machines again - now that I have at least these videos. Although I'm sure I'll do one on AC/DC power, too, for instance. Plenty to delve into! :)

It's almost done! The voltage video has been edited, the voice-over recorded and I am now wrapping up audio. Exciting! The first new video in 5(!) years 😅

For patrons there's an exclusive preview version of the upcoming voltage video available on https://www.patreon.com/svdb - it's still rough, but nearly finished. Only a couple more minutes of animation remaining. But before I polish it, I need to know if it hasn't got any glaring mistakes. If you can, support my work and become a patron. Early access to videos like this is just one perk you'll receive. Can't wait to finish it and finally publish it here!

Another update on the upcoming Voltage video. I'm just about to hit the 4 minute mark. Animating this (I work solo) is a lot of work. And I still have quite a lot of script left ;) I did just finish a shot with this little cityscape, I thought I'd share. If I am to guess, I would say I'm about half way or just passed the halfway point.
