Job Opening: Full Time Remote Editor (Doesn’t have to be local)

How to try out for the position:

*   Download the following assets from a short tutorial I shot for a Quarterback online course:  https://we.tl/t-5No1S4CRYo  (Yes, the main A-Roll clip is only 5 minutes long)
*   Send back your best edit as quickly as possible to Parker@fulltimefilmmaker.com

What I’m looking for that will determine who I hire:

*   SPEED - We need someone that can turn out projects fast!
*   TALENT - I want someone better than us, to IMPROVE our tutorials/youtube videos from where they currently stand.
*   WORK ETHIC - Someone who loves to edit and loves to work hard :)
*   VERSATILE - Main edits we need done are our tutorials/YouTube videos, but the more you can bring to the table the better.

Criteria that I’ll be looking for in THIS editing tryout:

*   Quick turnaround time (This type of video should normally only take a 1-2 hours to edit together something simple and passable but take a full day or two to go above and beyond and show off everything you are capable of while still turning it around as soon as possible)
*   Music Choice (Ability to find music that matches the vibe of the edit) (Don’t use our FTF song, be creative)
*   Color correction/grade (This is a tutorial so doesn’t have to be fancy but show off your skills)
*   Titling (Ability to recognize important key words and create aesthetic titles to aid in viewer comprehension)
*   Motion Graphics (Titles, arrows, numbers, lines, images etc: Show off your ability to add visual aids to make the viewing experience more engaging)
*   Sound Design (Ability to add sound effects to aid visuals, titles, transitions, motion graphics etc)
*   Transitions (Ability to get creative switching between A and B roll without being over the top)
*   Overall Goal: Make a relatively boring video topic come alive and feel more engaging.

Reference:

*   Obviously you have our youtube videos as a reference of how we do things so that should serve as a BASELINE of what you'll want to do, but WOW us!
