During the first month of life, Feneco pups feed only on their mother's milk. Found in regions of North Africa and Eurasia, they have their ears as a trademark and have excellent hearing, which helps them to find prey with ease, even meters deep in the ground. The desert fox, as it is known, lives in small family flocks, the parents live with their young all their lives.

Common hippopotamus females give birth to a single child every two years. The cub is born with an average of 45 kg and remains with the mother, breastfeeding for approximately one year, and the most interesting thing is that breastfeeding takes place in the water. Did you know that the hippo can stay submerged for up to 5 minutes? 
This mammal found in regions of Africa can live up to 40 years and has a semiaquatic habit, coming out of the water at night to feed.

Penguin eggs take about 5 weeks to hatch, and during this period male and female take turns looking for food so that the egg is never left alone. A curiosity is that parents digest food for their babies, who are always protected from predator attacks. Only when the chick reaches the size of its father, and exchanges its fluff for feathers, is it taught to swim and begins to look for its own food, achieving independence.

The harp seal, as a baby, has a very warm layer of fur, as it does not yet have the thick layer of fat typical of adult seals to protect themselves from the cold. 
It is common for them to gain a lot of weight in the first days of life due to breast milk, which is high in calories. This even makes it difficult for them to get into the sea, since the weight prevents them from being able to dive easily, so it takes a few days to adapt.

Baby turtles are born after an incubation period that lasts between 45 and 60 days. The breaking of eggs varies according to the environment, depending on factors such as temperature and rainfall in the region. They usually leave the nest at night, due to the cooling of the sand, which reduces the chances of the cubs being surprised by predators. Upon reaching the surface, they immediately run to the sea in a group, and are guided by the luminosity of the horizon.
