Did you see my latest video? This fishing line and kelp is wrapped around the dorsal fin of this shark. Plus a barracuda takes a bite at a shark's tail!

This shark was cruising along with its eyes closed. It's something I've seen ONLY when a shark is making a predation attempt or investigating an object. But not this one. It's featured in one of my favorite videos I released recently, but the video was overshadowed by the baby shark coverage and thus didn't get much distribution on YouTube.  But here it is. This is the largest white shark I've ever been in the water with. It's an 18-19 foot female. Notice the mating scars on her side. Here's the video of my time with her in the water.

I filmed a great white shark with s thresher shark in its mouth recently. Something I've looked into in some areas with large concentrations of white sharks is their food source. I believe the sharks here are eating a good amount of young thresher sharks. I've seen both species together and threshers breaching near large great whites. Video to come eventually when I get more data. But I can for sure say that thresher sharks are definitely a favorite meal of sharks here.
