Taking chances is scary, but there is something that should scare you more than anything: missing out on something truly wonderful because you were scared. 

When we graduated college, we decided to do something none of our peers were doing: work on a cruise ship. That chance led us to each other. 

Over the years, despite paycuts, layoffs, and the ups and downs of YouTube, we took a chance on booking some flights to places we always dreamed of. In the end, we made those trips work.

This past November, when our hearts couldn’t handle the yearning for a dog any longer, we took a chance and said “we can fill this dream AND still travel”. That chance led us to Napa, the brightest ray of sunshine in our lives.

What we’ve learned is that you can’t push off your dreams for someday, because some day might never come. 

And another thing: if you find yourself mentioning the same dream more than once to people (especially to people you’ve just met) that’s a pretty good indicator that it’s time to make moves to make it happen.
