Hello everyone - since a section of Indians is triggered by the National Award and trying to attack us, let us make some things clear. 1. We are currently traveling and all the videos for the month of March have already been scheduled. In fact we are planning a whole series about elections. Unfortunately- this one will not blame Modi ji or Congress for all the problems you are facing right now. Some people just want to live in an echo chamber. In which case, this isn’t the place for you. 3. We have not made videos about a lot of issues. We are not news. We are 2 people with a very small team of editors. We take time to do our research. And rather jumping on a topic we prefer to wrap our heads around it first, understand all sides and then present our video. This takes time. 4. Unlike other creators - during election times we understand that spirits are high and there are chances of any video sparking riots and even violence. That’s why we haven’t made videos about Sandeshkhali, CAA, and many recent issues that have religious undertones. We live in India and the topics we choose do have an impact on our safety and security as well. 5. Since last few days many of you have given us a lot of love and support. Yet our comment section is filled with hate. There are many who hate PM Modi and our one picture with him has costed us so much hate that I feel - this is unfair. People are using their hate for Modiji to target every creator who won the National Award. What do you expect us to do? Deny the award because YOU dislike Modiji? Please understand that he is the elected democratic leader of our country and not a representative of any party in that occasion. We received an award from the PM of India. It is an honour. because we believe in democracy. 6. The hate is unwarranted. I will not take it lying back on the ground. I will always fight for what I believe in. No matter what.
