… my mind constantly races all over the place, it’s a running joke in our house about the amount of weird and wonderful things I’m thinking about when Mrs HGP is trying to have a conversation with me … … but when it comes to hoof trimming, I’m 100% focussed and absorbed in it - literally nothing else enters my head when I have a grinder or a razor sharp hoof knife in my hand. … I’d say it’s as close to meditation as I’ll ever get!!! 😂 #meditation #work #focus #mind #concentration #hoof #trimming #farming

I messed up … and I’m furious!!! … I can barely believe I actually did this! When I am out and about on my travels, I usually meet a few of you fantastic members of the herd. Yesterday was no different, I bumped into a couple of you who were fantastically friendly and after the usual happy smiley selfie. … all good so far… … however, things took a dramatic and drastic turn for the worse when I bumped into one of you at a fuel station, just outside of Ayr town! You see I am real baseball cap guy and the one I’m wearing in the photo is a sample of a hat I just designed and finally received from our clothing suppliers … after waiting around a month. … the trouble is when I meet any of you out and about I’m massively grateful to meet you, and in all of the big smiles and selfies yesterday at the fuel station, I got caught up in the moment and gave away this baseball cap!! Don’t get me wrong I’m very happy that you’ve got it, but devastated that I don’t have it anymore! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂 I jumped into the car and with a raised voice explained to Mrs HGP “I’ve just given away my cap!!!” … in disbelief at myself 🤣🤣🤣😂 Aw well lol

Ever since I was a kid I dreamt of a life I’d have, I always just believed things would work out, not for one second did I ever consider life not working out …. Even when I was flat, stone cold broke, borrowing money from my mother to feed our family, I genuinely, always believed that things would work out. Through determination, literal blood, sweat, tears and grief … I still just believed it would work out. …. Looking back right now I can’t believe I was so naive in a way, but so far, everything has worked out - but I’ll continue with the blood, sweat and tears where their needed and where they happen, to ensure I/we don’t end up where we once were. Landed in Florida … Drury Plaza Hotel is looking fantastic as you can see 😂🤣 It’s so strange being half way across the world and being able to take a selfie with my cartoon self!!! Really looking forward to talking to everyone tomorrow morning and to meeting you all afterwards.
