In the middle of Election Season - Oxford Union decides to release the recording of the  #IndiaDebate ... Where I had the opportunity to polish my debating skills after a long time & speak on the rather inflammable topic - THB That Modi’s India is on the Right Path (For The Motion) 
Now many were shocked to see me speak FOR THIS Motion!!!!! - but then isn't that what Debating is all about. :) Getting a chance to interpret the topic and YET having your say :::))))) 
Though this has been released after a delay - given the elections are on - its a good time!!!

Close to a BILLION people have the right to vote in our great country. If u are a Deshbhakt Family Member I earnestly hope that you will vote - no excuses -  #VoteForDemocracy  - ur country is depending on you.

Firstly wanted to thank you all for the warm comments on our National Anthem Video.... how we got Jana Gana Mana is a fascinating story and we must all know what our anthem stands for....its much more than words to a tune.

As far as 'Happy' Republic Day goes - on the eve of this glorious day - we got the news of ASI releasing the report on Gyanvapi Mosque - indicating the presence of a Temple before it. Now starts the whole process again of demanding a temple here and the eventual dismantling of the Places of Worship Act. The Republic needs to consider that hundreds of Ayodhya like cases will come up all over India.
 Question is till what extent will we go to in an attempt to 'repair' the past????

Also - on this day we read our personal constitution - that Deshbhakt was / is / will be independent / non - partisan / sarcastic - as we carry on that road in 2024 .... your every view / every share / every membership matters a lot us.

Dear Deshbhakt Family,
There is a very famous quote from Charles Dickens "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times ...."
At a time when press freedom is as its lowest - at a time when India's present situation is being compared to Indira's emergency .... it is perhaps the WORST time to expand Deshbhakt into another channel ...ANOTHER CHANNEL that speaks the truth & asks uncomfortable questions.....however WHAT BETTER time to do this????? - when it is needed the most!!!!!

Over the years so many of you have reached out to us - asking for a ENGLISH version of the Deshbhakt - a channel that can take the message of QUESTION EVERYTHING to all parts of India and the world....without the language barrier. Well today we broke though our own insecurities and launched a new channel. I am again nervous / happy / tense and excited to share the first video with you.... HOPEFULLY there will be more... a LOT more.

Deshbhakt family has always stood by me - without your support we would not have been here - now asking for that support one more time. Do visit / watch / subscribe / share the channel .... so that we get the confidence to do more on Deshbhakt and our new English channel as well.
