For those confused about setting up a Palworld Dedicated Server:
1. You don't need a dedicated server, you can invite your friends to play without anything complicated - but the host always needs to be inngame to join. A dedicated server is always running (as long as it's open).
2. If you want to use the Palworld Dedicated Server on Steam (which is easier), see this NEW guide: https://youtu.be/7Erzg2HcBHI
3. If you want to use SteamCMD to download the game server on a server or another computer, see the other guide here: https://youtu.be/Ep53qUrzhIg

Previously both steps were in one video and made everything VERY confusing. I have edited the SteamCMD (original) video to remove the Steam steps, and the article as well. I have created a new video and article showing the much easier stepsm specifically for the Palworld Dedicated Server on Steam.

Weird things happened. TLDR: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre videos I created for optimizing the game were private due to massive errors and will be updated and re-posted.

The latest Nvidia driver update (or one of them) caused (for some people) a change with overclocking/undervolting/monitoring software like Precision X, MSI Afterburner that set the maximum allowed power for the GPU to the minimum.

My graphics card was locked to 28% of it's available power. No wonder the game choked.

This will be fixed and updated.

Sidenote, I'm surprised how well my latest addiction, Dota 2, faired with such little GPU power.

For those who used the Vicuna one-line install script (from here: https://youtu.be/ByV5w1ES38A )
I have updated the script to let you choose between 7B and 13B models for both CPU and GPU and memory estimations.
If you got 'llama' errors, or CUDA out-of-memory errors, rerun the script and follow the updated prompt!

Installation steps are mostly the same, so the video still applies: https://youtu.be/ByV5w1ES38A

I have deleted my "Unlock FPS in Roblox | 120 FPS+ | Roblox Optimization Tip" video.

There are many reports about it containing malware suddenly... But it seems Windows/Microsoft has added it to a PUP (Potentially unwanted programs) list and is now removing it from computers.

I doubt the release on Github suddenly contains malware as the last release was posted in November 2022. The code is visible at github as "axstin/rbxfpsunlocker".

To be on the safe side, the video is now deleted.

Would you like to see an updated guide?

Would you like to see a code breakdown to see if there is anything sus? Let me know!

I think I may do this anyways, some people may find it interesting.

It's now 2023. Thank you all for a fantastic year. I appreciate everyone and their never-ending support.
I'm looking forward to another year of even better content. See you all next year! ~

In 2022 this channel went from 87,000 Subscribers to 144,000, and 35,500,000 views to 63,494,000. The channel has practically doubled in size, and I couldn't have done it without you. It's incredible to be here.
@TroubleChuteBasics , my other channel, went from 15,000 to 21,500 subscribers, and 178,000 to 3,100,000 views, which is HUGE. Trying new ideas was a great thing, so you can expect some more adventurous things here.

On top of this, I launched an article site as a resource for more info for my YouTube channel, and views there are growing well. I do want to expand some of my videos with further, more in-depth information as time goes on https://hub.tcno.co/ .

Thank you again for an incredible year,
Wesley.

Heads up for @CallofDuty #Warzone2 #MWII :

You can't move the game files between Steam & BattleNet to skip downloading everything.

The files are too different/use different compression.

You'd only save ~200MB moving files between platforms.

So there won't be a tutorial on this for those who have requested.
You will just need to redownload the game when moving from Steam to BattleNet or vice versa

For those wondering about the separate Windows 11 and Windows 10 optimization guides you're seeing for games. Both are receiving great like/dislike ratios, and are received well... But I won't be uploading them separately anymore after Elden Ring (today) and the Destiny 2 optimization coming tomorrow. I'll combine both the Win 11 and Win 10 steps into one video as best I can so future guides won't have a video for each OS.

I was originally planning on linking to a short Win 10/11 guide, which I uploaded and was received well - But I don't see a lot of people going out of their way to another video. What would you prefer?

(The first option would tell you to watch another video - would people do this? I doubt)
(The second option is as things are currently, although Win 10 & 11 combined in future videos)

Simple, general Win10/11 optimization guides + Game optimization

Include simple Windows steps in every Game optimization guide
