Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry to say, but I will be suspending my time as a content creator indefinitely. My personal life over the last year has been difficult, and now things are going to drastically change. I'm not in the right mindset, nor have enough time to devote to regular content anymore. I'm sorry, as I know this is disappointing news for many of you. I appreciate all of you for supporting me over the last year and a half.

For the publishers who have sent me reviews or previews, if you want me to send them onto another creator, I will do so and I will pay the postage (if in the US). Contact me via tabletopfor1@gmail.com to arrange that. 

Just a quick update...I've been sick for a week and lost my voice. It's almost back, but not in time for this week's podcast. So, next week's podcast will be almost double the content (I'll still keep it down to less than 30 min). As for my Spotify and Apple accounts, they have completely jammed up, and I can't get them restored. I'm looking into alternate hosting services. Thanks for watching and listening as always, and have a great week! 

Podcast listeners - For whatever reason, I am having trouble both on Apple and Spotify. I'll be working on getting those accounts back up and running, or choosing an alternative. In the meantime, I'll still be posting my podcast here on YouTube. I know it's not the same, but I'll do my best to fix the other accounts.

This group is not limited to solo play, and neither is it a group for me to promote my channel. Instead, it is a group open to any board gamer and a safe place to share enjoyment of the hobby. Some of you have asked about the status of my Plum Island Horror videos. This is by far the largest project I've worked on yet on my channel. I finished recording the first video which is two hours long (pre-edits). The first video will have a comprehensive rules teach and one round of gameplay. The second video, which I hope to record this morning, will have the remaining gameplay to finish out the playthrough. It will take me a few days at the very least to edit these videos. I'm also planning on having Hermann Luttmann, the designer, preview them to make sure they are *mostly* accurate. It's a huge project, and I'm sorry it's taking so long. If all goes well, I'll publish the first one early next week. 

Following my recent post, I am stepping away from the Facebook groups, BG41 (Board Games For One) and BGR (Board Game Revolution) and will not be posting as often in those groups. In fact, I expect they will ban me from those groups after they see this post. To give some backstory, I had a falling out with the owner of the groups. I don't want to aire all the particulars here, but our personal friendship ended. As a result, he made it so my posts need approvals and stripped me of my "Group Expert" badge, even though I broke NO rules. I no longer feel welcome there by him and the leadership. So, I will spend most of my social media time elsewhere. It saddens me, because the BG41 community specifically has been such a wonderful community, filled with so many wonderful people. I will miss the interactions with all of you who are there, and hope I can find you in other Facebook groups. Wherever I end up, I'll post here and update you. Thank you for always being the best of the board game community. 

I greatly enjoy my online interactions with many of you on Facebook. However, I am looking for other avenues of engagement, be it other Facebook groups or X or Discord or something else. Which social media platforms do you frequent that you suggest I look into joining? 

Well, it's one of those weeks. I've been trying to get my latest tutorials up only to find significant rules errors in them. So, it will be a day or two before my next tutorial is posted. As for the Flamecraft promos, I replied to the winners in that post. If you won, please email me your US address if you haven't already. On a side note, let's do a poll. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank all of you for your continued support, help, and encouragement. This channel has grown leaps and bounds since last Thanksgiving, and I couldn't do it without your support. Every comment you make, question you ask, or even critique you offer has helped me continue to produce content, try to do better, and giving me the positive push to keep going.
