A new video is releasing tomorrow at 5CST about... not fighting games?!?! I put a lot of work into making sure this one will be enjoyable for everyone, so I hope you'll be there to check it out! Unfortunately the intro for the GGST Character overviews video has been copyright claimed for using smell of the game. Currently I plan to repload the video without said intro and will also update it to include Johnny and Elphelt sometime soon, and I humbly ask those of you who watched the original video to try and support the reupload as well. 

That video was 6 months in the making and to see it being stripped of monotization for ~20 seconds of isolated video game music is pretty dissapointing ngl 

It will probably not do as well as the first time it was uploaded but unfortunately that's gonna have to be ok I think :( 

Its that time again! A new video essay releases at 12PM CST :) See if you can guess what it's about from the thumbnail :o 

Be on the lookout around lunchtime tomorrow for a brand new video essay! In it, we discuss the Install, one of the most important pillars of hype factor found in many fighting games! 

You can expect a return to form to the classic video essay format with this soon to be finished video! What could it be about though, I wonder? 

Semi-important update: Due to the release of the full character overviews video containing information that makes the individual videos part 1-4 out of date and obsolete, I will be unlisting these videos at the end of the week. If for any reason you wanted to save parts of these videos that are changed in the new release, now is your time to do so. 

Tomorrow morning at 10AM CST the long in progress full GGST Character Overviews video drops!

This vid has been 6 months in the making so I hope to see you all there! 

Soon. The culmination of almost half a year's work will release this week. 

I've had people mention the slight video drought to me, so I wanted to be transparent and let you know I am still in fact working on a video!

As promised, I'm going through and reediting the GGST character guides to be accurate with season 2 balance changes. Along with some changes to help beginners comprehend the videos a little in response to feedback, It's taking a little longer than expected!

Rest assured, I'm still at it o7

After I get that video out, it'll be back to the standard video essay format for awhile too! 

Had a new idea for a video series that I wanted to gauge interest on: 

A series of bite sized shorts on individual fighting game concepts directed towards beginners, something you can send a friend if they say: “I don’t get how spacing traps work” etc.

These would be 3-5 mins max and cover subjects as they relate to specific games as well!

For example, I’d release a bite sized vid on general strike/throw, then how it works in GGST, then in SF6, etc.
