Latest devlog is live! I channeled big @SteveMould energy for this, and made a bunch of props to help illustrate the idea.

It was fun trying to bring some more "real life" stuff into a game devlog video, which is usually just screen captured footage. I mean, it makes total sense. It's literally something you create on a computer, and that's how I've made all of my own videos so far! But there is something refreshing about trying to mix up the regular formula.

Or maybe I've just been watching too much science and engineering YouTube...

Mega thanks to everyone who has checked out the video so far. I'm super proud of this one, so I'm really glad that people are enjoying it. It makes me super happy that there is still a platform and audience for long form, in depth videos!

How I Designed Jetpack Joyride video is getting close! I have finished the full draft edit, now it just needs lots of love and attention to be ready for release. It's an epic at 40 minutes long and has an outrageous amount of never-before-seen stuff in it. I'm excited!

The "How I Designed Jetpack Joyride" video is proving to be an absolute beast to put together. So much to try and tie together into a single story.

But it is super fun digging into some of these super old assets. Check out these ancient sprite sheets showing how Lil Stomper evolved!

The last 6 weeks I've mostly been working on a Feed the Deep milestone, which is why I've been a bit quiet on the YouTube front. However I do have a few behind-the-scenes style videos up on my Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/LukeMuscat

Only a couple of days left for everyone to try to break the game. People are still managing to beat the daily challenges so far. I mean... people other than me. To me they all seem impossible.

100,000 SUBSCRIBERS?! I am blown away. I had planned on making a 100k special for this day, but it happened so fast that I’m only halfway done!

Starting this channel has been one of the absolute highlights of my career. I am working hard and having a tremendous amount of fun. I can’t wait to see where we are in another 12 months.

I deeply appreciate everyone's support. Thank you all for watching and being a part of this journey with me.

Oh hey, a quiz option! What was the original name for Jetpack Joyride?

Wow. I am overwhelmed and humbled by the reception on the Fruit Ninja video.

I always knew that Fruit Ninja was played by a lot of people, but all the comments about how it was a part of people’s childhoods… just hits different.

Also, people calling out that they used to play Rocket Racing and Super Hero Squad. These games sold poorly and reviewed worse, and so for the past 14 years I kinda just assumed that this meant no one played or enjoyed them. Hearing that these games did find and connect with some players brings me so much joy.

Thank you all, it really means a lot.
