AD Look at baby me! Can't believe this was 9 years ago! I've come so far as a person since my first YouTube video. This little girl was hopeless and scared, filming a video hoping there was someone out there who could relate to her hurt. My voice sounds so trembly but I was so determined to get better mentally and carve out a new life for myself as blind Lucy even though I didn't believe that I'd ever love myself again. But making content for you guys has really built up my confidence over the years, it makes me emotional thinking about all the other little Lucy's out there going blind right now. That's why I still upload on YouTube now and why I get up every morning and do what I do. It's to tell those little Lucys they are valid, they are loved and they are ok.

This is my pledge to you that I will continue to be unfiltered, unrestrained and my authentic self when posting.

I love that YouTube allows you to live your life through someone's lens when watching their video. This is why it's so cool to shout about Women Creators from the rooftops! I love that YouTube are shining a light on women creators with their new website because we still don’t have parity with men in so many areas 💔
