The Galaxy S24 Ultra's 5x telephoto snaps 10x photos just as well as the Galaxy S23 Ultra's native 10x. Even 100x looks comparable. Plus, you get better low light performance and color. Kudos, Samsung! 

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is official! 

- Ultra model gets Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 globally (unlike standard models)
- Stronger glass and titanium should be interesting in the drop test
- Not sure about the 10X trade for a higher 50 MP resolution, but a 5X telephoto is still nice
- Same 5000 mAh battery, but should be better with the new chipset
- $1299
