Japan — you have been nothing but amazing ✨ Although my time here was shorter than expected, I enjoyed every single moment there. This was my first time back in Japan in 6 years, and the first time after getting into photography. From city, nature, people, cleanliness, convenience — Japan, you are wonderful. I know this is not the last time I will be here (and the next time will look a lottt different), but this trip was special.

こんにちは from Japan! 🇯🇵 got here a couple of days ago and have been loving it! Explored Tokyo and can’t wait to head over to other districts and cities here 😌

My 10 Favorite Photos in 2023 📸 Photography looked a little different this year, but I’ve learned to fall in love with it in a different way! This year, it wasn’t so much about hiking up crazy mountains, car camping, and standing on cliffs to get the shot, but it was more about finding beauty in unpopular places. I used to travel far and wide to get certain shots but while my lifestyle kind of changed to where I can’t do that so often anymore, I started to find creativity in different angles 😌

Moments after taking this shot, the fog covered the mountains. We were driving when I knew I wanted to pull over to capture this place! Alaska is nature lovers paradise as there was SO much to see, just not enough time.

Looking back, 2023 was one of the most humbling and eye opening years for me. It almost felt like I "ended" but started an entirely new chapter in my life. And while I thought I would not go on any big trips in 2023, Alaska was one for the books. I have no trips planned for 2024, but I'm still so happy to be home. There's comfort of being able to stay in one place but hey, who knows — 2024 is still a mystery 😌

Do you have any trips planned in 2024?!

Hey guys! If you're new to the channel, welcome 👋 but if you’ve been here for a while, you might’ve picked up that a HUGE reason how I’ve been able travel for so long is because of credit card points and miles!

I got into credit card hacking over the last 6 years, and have been putting them into work over the last 4. From the beginning of my social media & travel journey, I'd constantlyyy get asked how I'm able to travel so much. Some things just didn't make any sense to people, and I don't blame them. All it looked like was a girl with a camera running around the world to take photos with no game plan. And to be quite frank, I honestly didn't know how I was going to survive traveling for as long as I did but I felt secure knowing I had enough points to back me up for months. While it almost feels like it's taking me longer than the ~average~ creator (this can be a topic for another day) to teach you how to successfully travel the world and make a living out of it, the one thing I'm so confident on teaching you is how to leverage credit card points and miles for free travel.

It all started off with me trying to find ways to travel for cheap to finding ways to travel for free. I've put together a free guide on how to leverage credit cards points and miles, where to start, my recommended starter and mid-tier cards, and answering misconceptions about this space. I can't ever see myself paying full price for a flight again and I only want you to be able to experience the same.

I’ve put together a comprehensive guide on everything I know about credit cards. Get your free guide and start learning how to travel smart with credit cards points and miles 🫶

Hope everyone has been enjoying their Thanksgiving weekend! I spent a lot of time with family & friends, and it's been really nice just slowly down, taking a breather, and finally editing some of my photos from Alaska! 😌 I still haven't edited the second part of the vlog, but that is still TBD 🤭 If you celebrate, how has your Thanksgiving weekend been?

When I first started getting into creating content, I had no intentions of it becoming what it is now. I was just obsessed with traveling and taking photos (still am but in moderation). It used to be my thought dumpster — if you go back to my older OG posts, I used to just blog about my current life situation, lessons I was currently going through, and my emotional outlet because even though I had homies all around the world to talk about my problems to, this served as a stamp to what I was going through at that specific time. Then short form video came out and I got so overwhelmed to then share my writing in verbal form. Maybe it's a timing thing but even though translating it into video form still seems difficult, it feels like dejavu all over again. There are moments in time when life just seems too good. But good things also come to an end. Being present in the moment and appreciating how life just 'is' is a beautiful thing but also hard when you have to let it go. I don't know where you are in your life but when you don't know what to do, listen to your gut because your gut is usually never wrong, even if it's towards the direction you don't necessarily want to go to. Thanks for coming to my ted talk — would you want to see this in short video form? Safe & happy travels 🖤

When I was researching things to do in Alaska, I knew that the one place I did not want to miss out on visiting was Chena Hot Springs. We drove through a blizzard to get to the springs, but the drive was worth it. It was a solid way to wind down from all the adventures and if you're lucky, you can even see the northern lights from there!

📌 Tips if you're planning on visiting:
♨️ They close pretty late, hours from 7:00am to 11:45pm
♨️ The lockers are a bit old school and you'll need quarters to unlock them.
♨️ Bring your own towels. They have towels, but at a cost
♨️ I recommend staying for at least 3 hours, and then head over to the restaurant adjacent to the springs.

If you're lucky with clear skies, you might be able to see the Northern Lights after hours. It was too cloudy when @codyconk and I went, but maybe you'll get lucky during your visit. Safe & happy travels 🖤
