Have you watched the latest episode? This Ballarat extension designed by @moloneyarchitects uses a restrained material palette, with plywood that brings warmth and tactility, while black steel and joinery add contrast to the interior. What do you think? Tell me what you love, or perhaps don't love in the comments.

Were you lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the next episode? Not sure how it happened, perhaps some sleep deprivation caused me to not properly schedule it.

Not to worry, it’ll be properly published Friday!

We will spend the next episode in this minimalistic extension by Moloney Architects. I asked Mick if this was styled for the shoot, but he assured me that every time he visited the clients, the home looked like this.

If Simple Dwelling was to do a documentary series, going deep on a particular topic/theme/question, what would it be about?

For those who stared at their YouTube last Friday waiting for the new episode, I apologise to you.

Little Dweller got sick, then we got sick, so everything was over the place last week. However, we’re all doing better, and I’ll be aiming for this Friday.

With that said, how do you feel about Friday evening uploads? Granted, this is for Australians, I guess if you’re in New York, it’s more like 3am for you. With that, you wake up to a new episode, so that’s kinda nice.

Anyway, I’m excited to get back to uploading.

What level of 'home' do you prefer seeing?

'Basically minimalist' allows you to focus purely on the architecture/design, not distracted by things or stuff or clutter.
'Some styling' gives you the impression of how each space is occupied, but owner's things are kept out.
'More lived in' is just that, magazines, books, trinkets, photographs, etc are on displayed, along with their furniture and architecture.

In your opinion, how do you want to see other's architectural homes?

Basically minimalist

Some styling

More lived in

Just a quick update. I'm planning on releasing the next house video on the 22nd of March, Australian time, and the goal is to do a fortnightly house tour release from then.

I did a call-out for homes to film and have received an incredible response with some truly gorgeous homes, so I can't wait to get shooting and editing!
