In the last years, I’ve tried on some traditional clothes in different republics of Russia. Here are some of the outfits: Tatar, Udmurt, Sami, Dolgan and Kalmyk.

Which one do you prefer more?
Do you have traditional clothes in your region as well?

Sometimes I need to pinch myself to believe that I’m really living this dream. Traveling and making videos became my job, and I still can’t believe that this is a job – I mean, I never feel like ‘I’m working’. Yes, it can be tiring. Yes, it can be challenging. Yes, I am the only one responsible for my channel and it can be demanding. But still, I can’t believe that this can be a job! I feel so grateful to myself that I started my channel back in 2019 and didn’t give up (because in the beginning I kept making videos that only my friends and mom watched 😁).

However, the best thing that my channel gives to me is not revenue. It’s a community from all over the world and opportunities. This time I was invited to Mongolia by the ministry of tourism and a tour agency to film the most freezing and exciting winter activities of the country. See me surviving here 👉🏻

Traveling has always been my dream and recently I’ve visited my 30th county! It’s been a long way, as I’ve also lived in some of these countries for a year or several months. It’s very hard to choose ’the best’ places, but if I was asked to do so, Mongolia would definitely be in my top destinations. You can see WHY here https://youtu.be/4o9XyskdSiY?si=9dQpe...

What are your favorite countries to travel so far? Why?

Hi everyone! I'm here to share my little life update :)

I just came back to Russia from 3 months long journey in the Arctic and then Central Asia where I filmed lots of new videos!

I see that for some reason YouTube shadowed my channel recently, which makes me sad, as I've put a lot of effort to produce my latest videos but few people see them. So, I would be very grateful if you do some activity for this video (like or comment) https://youtu.be/-tUh_JPL35A , and maybe I will be back from a shadow ban.

Today is my birthday, so I'm very happy to be back home in Russia and I will spend it with my friends :) I wish everyone a great weekend as well and to be around people you love!

This winter I organized my first trip with some of the viewers of my channel. I didn’t choose an easy destination! We set off to one of the remotest places of Russia - the Dyatlov Pass, and we followed the footsteps of the biggest Soviet mystery of the 20th century.

In 1959 nine Soviet hikers set off to the Ural mountains for a skiing expedition. They established a camp on a slope of a mountain, but overnight something caused them to cut their way out of the tent and flee the campsite while being completely undressed for sub-zero temperatures. The investigation concluded that a "compelling natural force" had caused the deaths of 9 hikers, and the tragedy still remains unsolved.

Little did we know what was about to happen to us...

📹 our adventure is already on my channel 👉🏻

Also, one of my tourists Sasha made a video about this trip and her impressions! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isMmd...

Watch the videos and let me know if you would have also joined such adventure :)

If it wasn’t for my friends, probably I would have never visited Voronezh. But if I visited Voronezh without them, I wouldn’t like the city that much. After all, it’s experiences and connections that matter more than destinations and distances traveled.

Do you agree?

I have just published a video from Russia’s city of the most beautiful girls, black soils and KURAZH on my channel! What is Kurazh? Learn in the video https://youtu.be/Eu5huFflYvQ?si=vNuWp...

I want to share something with you today!

My friends and fellow full-time travellers @MattandJulia have just released a new video entering Russia in a seriously unique way, by taking a ship from Korea, across the Sea of Japan (passing North Korea) towards the Russian far-east!
You can check out the video here: https://youtu.be/91i24__oxXM

The far east of Russia is a different world, and a region I really love as well! The ‘capital of the far east’ Vladivostok, is actually over 9,000km’s from Moscow, but less than 2 hours by air from Tokyo, Beijing and Seoul!

Matt and Julia’s adventures have taken them to some of the most incredible and misunderstood parts of our planet, from Syria to China.
But their main passion is sharing the unique places, journeys, people and real life across Russia, eastern Europe and the countries of the former Soviet Union.

Julia is originally from Siberia, and they often head back to her hometown & share videos with her family in one of Russia’s least shared regions!

My first time in MONGOLIA! 🇲🇳

I don’t look like a ‘cool’ and successful blogger for many people: I don’t drink cocktails on a beach in Maldives, don’t go shopping in Dubai or don’t take pictures in expensive outfits near the Eiffel Tower.

I visit the most non-touristic places in Russia that very few people would choose as a travel destination, and I prefer the coldest places that are usually avoided. And now, I decided to visit Mongolia and live in a tent in the steppes during the coldest month of winter.

But who is entitled to decide what is cool, and what is not cool to do, and what things are supposed to make us happy and that we should allegedly be striving to achieve?

Screw standards! And do whatever makes your heart beat and feel fully alive.

Sending you rays of sun from the middle of nowhere of the country of the Eternal Blue Sky!
