Good news, everyone!

We are glad to share that we now have full control over our channel, content ownership, and monetization. Expect a lot of backlogged videos to be uploaded in the following days. 

Around Christmas, we made public the issues we were facing due to the hijacking of our channel's monetization by an unknown perpetrator. Thank you for the comments of support in the video and on Twitter.

It turns out going public with this was the right move as it was a lot more helpful than trying to resolve the issue quietly with Youtube Support. Just hours after publishing the video, we got a chance to take control of the hijacked MCN account. Once we were in, we disconnected our channel from the MCN and we resumed full control of the channel. Today, some ten days later, we are now also fully set up for monetizing the channel with AdSense directly.

As to who helped us take over the MCN account – we have no idea who it was and Youtube Support claims it wasn't them. It might remain a mystery forever, but whoever it was – THANK YOU!
