I'm sad to say that today's 40k video is my last one. It's just been a matter of more work for less views, so for now I'm just going to refocus on SCP for a bit before trying something else. 

The third and final part of SCP-7243 will come out next week, but after that I'll be taking another hiatus this January. I do have one or two surprise videos for the month, but mostly I'll just be uploading some combined videos of past multi-part SCPs, including SCP-6004, SCP-7043, and SCP-5392. Happy New Year to everyone though, and thank you for a great 2023. 

I hope many of you enjoyed this month's content, and overall I was glad that I did it. Thanks for all of the kind comments, and a special thanks to everyone that donated this month in support. Just a heads up that there will not be a video next Monday the 6th, but I'll be back with 40k on the 13th. 

Sorry, but no new video...yet. Today's video was going to be an audiobook of the Whisperer in Darkness by H.P. Lovecraft, but once again, it was immediately blocked on copyright grounds. This should be cleared up in a few days, but it's really annoying now that I know it's going to happen every time. This is a bit of an unusual announcement for me, seeing as how I've never done this before, but the time has come I think. I've been releasing weekly videos for a bit over 6 years now, but I'm going to take a little break, just for a month. I'll be on hiatus during the month of January, although I will be re-releasing some of those two-part SCP videos as combined videos each week, just to keep the algorithm happy. I'll be right back to work in February though, don't worry. 

I already did this poll on Twitter, where the majority chose the visualizer, but I may as well do it here too. Should I continue adding the audio waveform visualizer to the videos, or ditch it? 

Today's second video for Halloween was going to be a reading of The Dunwich Horror by H.P. Lovecraft, but it got immediately copyright claimed by Naxos Digital Services. Obviously, this is some automated nonsense, as Dunwich Horror is almost certainly in the public domain, and even if it isn't, they definitely don't own the rights. For those interested, I recorded a second version of the most recent SCP video utilizing an accent more in-line with what the main character would have. It seems I can't really do an English accent yet, only just a crummy Irish one, so patrons preferred the normal version. I'll likely delete this unlisted version before long.
