Bold Basics and Cautious Exaggeration Shapes this Retail Design for Kanishk Mehta | @syncdesignstudio

See Full Project >> https://thearchitectsdiary.com/

Note from the Editorial Team for the Project:

Conscious association of elements of maximalism with contextual design needs justifies the dark, moody, and playful interiors of this retail store for Kanishk Mehta. The bling and splendor coincide with the function-oriented design elements like the display units and specially crafted hangers on the center rail, suspended from the ceiling. Dabbed with pretend signature columns stages a dramatic branding strategy. A mindful composition like this makes the consumer experience a class apart, imitating the brand’s principles.

Comfort and Luxury Sculpt this Spacious Getaway residence in Ahmedabad | @snsdesignstudio

See Full Project >> https://thearchitectsdiary.com/

Note From The Editorial Team for the Project:

Revival of the losing identity of vernacular architecture and a strong desire for blurring the boundaries between the built and biome, this retreat home with the terracotta palette, is the much-needed pause from the daily commotion. Individualistic dining experience amidst the greenscape with peripheral transparency enlivens your sensorial experience, accentuates a sense of peace and luxury while promoting good health and well-being.

Meticulously Progressive Minimalism Showcased in this Residence of Refuge in Maharashtra | @shroffleon

See Full Project >> https://thearchitectsdiary.com/

Note from the Editorial Team for the Project:

A structure of progressive minimalism that adheres to the ideology of Mies Van Der Rohe’s. Integration of simple planar forms with clean lines and utilizing neutral colors makes this residence pleasingly attractive. Parallel to the farmscape, the built form is structurally harmonious, too. Stripped off of elaborate aesthetic ornamentation with innate elegance of Indian craftsmanship through the hanging carpet makes the bedroom for a calming retreat. Corner pendant light and a crinkled bedspread represent elements of relevance than sheer superficial embellishment.

Redefining Urban Living with Systematic Exposition of Modernism | @studiomatarchitects

See Full Project >> https://thearchitectsdiary.com/

Note from the Editorial Team for the Project:

The Field House quite ideally resembles the principles of modern architecture, visually and contextually too. As if inspired by Moshe Safdie’s Habitat 67, this retreat residence houses several stacked concrete cubes. Divergent openings integrate benefits of privacy, gardenscape and an essence of multi-leveled environments. A noticeable detail of wooden decking frames on the openings enhanced with spotlights clearly illustrates the movement of crowded city life to slow living in off-center locales.

Experimental Biophilia and Concrete Minimalism are Striking Undertones in JS Residence, Vadodara | @THE CROSSBOUNDARIES

See Full Project >> @t

Note from the Editorial Team for the Project:

With the increasing amount of time spent indoors in the past 2 years, there’s a rise in wanting spacious living environments. With that becoming a new normal, the JS Residence grabbed this opportunity which quite often is a challenge if not treated right, the double-height. It enhances the open floor plan, blurs the spatial divisions by becoming a focal point. Not only visually does this extend as a spatial feature, but psychologically too. A moment of pause is created discerning the emotional connection with the biophilic elements on the wall while one dines. These illustrations extend on all levels synonymous with the wilderness being accessible to all.

As an endnote, reviving the intimate connection of the built structures with different aspects of nature is what we have started looking for, globally.

A Systematic Design Intervention for Uniting Readers Community at The Book Room, Pune | @studio_infinity_pune

See Full Project >> https://thearchitectsdiary.com/

Note from the Editorial Team for the Project:

With the evolution of various reading sources, I wonder whether this is the last of the dedicated reading spaces that we have. The Book Room intends to preserve the importance of the library by designing a space that blends communication, interaction, and inspiration for varied users. The most peculiar element of staggered staircase reading makes the community of visitors and users engage in interactive conversations. Not to miss, the stamp quotes are a muted spatial guide. As principal design elements, the double-height spaces are most vulnerable to being abandoned. Being a public building, the vaulted ceilings, arched windows, and clear frames make it impossible to leave it unattended. The design holds the responsibility of creating a distinct miniature world for every visitor, an extension of each individual and their ideas.
