❗️ LIMITED EDITION DELTA CARDS ARE BACK ❗️


American Express and Delta just re-launched their limited edition Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business cards, made from 33% metal from a retired Boeing 747 aircraft.


Pretty cool concept which was incredibly popular when they launched a similar black card design in 2022. That limited edition card was gone very quickly due to limited supplies, and this one is also available in limited supplies (but it looks like they're producing more this time around due to the demand).


You should be able to swap out your current Delta SkyMiles Reserve or Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business card for this version if you're already a cardholder by contacting American Express customer service. Let me know in the comments if you're able to do that.

Wells Fargo Autograph Journey

Wells Fargo has officially announced their new Autograph Journey card this morning. More information will be available as this card launches, so I will do a full review video to share my final thoughts. The card will be available in select Wells Fargo branches beginning on March 9. It will be available nationwide online and in-branch beginning March 20. Here's a summary of what to know about this travel credit card:

- $50 Annual Statement Credit for Airline Purchases ✈️
- 60,000 Point Welcome Offer After Spending $4,000 in First 3 Months ⭐️
- 5X Points on Hotels 🏨
- 4X Points on Airlines ✈️
- 3X Points on Other Travel and Dining 🚕 🍔
- 1X Points on Other Purchases 🛒
- Points Transfer Feature ✅
- No Foreign Transaction Fees 🌎

🤔 MY INITIAL THOUGHTS:
- This is definitely an interesting addition to the travel credit card market. The point multipliers are clearly aimed at people who are spending a lot on travel and dining. The welcome offer of 60,000 points should be worth $600 at a minimum, but closer to at least $1,200 when redeemed strategically with transfer partners.
- Right now the list of available transfer partners is a good start - lots of value with Flying Blue, and plenty of options within OneWorld Alliance. Avianca is also great for booking United award flights. Choice Hotels are not a partner that I value very highly personally, so I'm hoping that we eventually see either Hyatt or Marriott added in the near future. More transfer partners are going to be added, according to what Wells Fargo is saying in articles.
- According to an article I read from CNBC ( https://www.cnbc.com/select/wells-fargo-new-rewards-program/ ) the no annual fee Wells Fargo Autograph card will also have access to the same transfer partners when this Wells Fargo Travel Rewards Program launches on April 4. Certain cash back Wells Fargo credit cards like the no annual fee Active Cash card will also be able to convert cash back into points, as long as the cardholder also has one of these points-earning Autograph cards. Will this lead to a true "Wells Fargo Trifecta" that will be worth pursuing?
- This $95 per year Wells Fargo Autograph Journey card will look to compete directly with similar cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred and Citi Premier. All of these should be good mid-tier travel cards, but time will tell if this new Wells Fargo card is good enough. So far, I like what I see from Wells Fargo to compete with other issuers in the credit card market. Competition is good and generally benefits consumers as these credit card companies fight for new business.
