Hi all!

Next week I'll be attending a Mazda Drive Day, and it goes without saying my main aim is to drive the updated MX-5. There will be other models there, though, so what else would you like to see me film? 

Another item ticked off the to-do list - ever since I've had Bella I've had to fumble about in the dark at nighttime as the interior light wasn't operating properly. Thanks to eBay I sourced a replacement, which is actually LED 👌🏽. Replacing it took a matter of seconds and now I have light! 

I've also bought a set of tyres to go on to the Abarth Alloys which I'll hopefully be fitting on Saturday along with the sports exhaust 😈. She's not done yet, but I'm pleased with the progress and it's helped to build my mechanical experience as well. I have made a few mistakes along the way, but I've learnt from them, which is the main thing.

It won't be viral content for the channel, but I hope the small number they do watch the series enjoy it. Speaking of which, the timing belt and water pump video will go live this Sunday 💪🏽.  #carobsession

Another productive afternoon spent on Bella 👌🏽. I had one of the guys at my day job to replace the Offside brake pipe as it was somewhat... crusty, and I (with some assistance) stripped the rear brakes, cleaned them up, and replaced the wheel cylinders and the brakes shoes. Also re-adjusted the handbrake, and the result is this...

- Rear brakes no longer binding
- Handbrake works!!!
- I also fixed the central locking. Well, all I did was to replace the fuse 🤣

Video NOT filmed today mostly due to time constraints and if I'm honest, I also didn't want to get distracted by filming. 

So to date, the following has been done to Bella:

- Full Service (also replaced ignition leads) (Video already on channel)
- Horn fixed (Not filmed)
- Few bulbs replaced (Not filmed)
- Timing Belt and Water Pump (Filmed)
- Rocker Cover Gasket and Coil Pack Gasket (Filmed)
- OSF Brake Pipe (Not Filmed)
- Rear brake strip down and clean (Not Filmed)
- Wheel Cylinders and Brakes Shoes (Not Filmed)
- Central Locking fixed (Not Filmed)

Future Plans:
- Sports Exhaust
- Fitting Abarth Alloys 
- Some form of suspension change (Lowering Springs or cheap Coilovers)
- Possible Welding
- Possible replacing the seats
- I'd like to rectify the sunroof issue
- Possibly rectify some of the lighter bodywork damage
- Possibly new tyres
- Replace Interior Light 

Today involved much nerdiness and MANY laughs. Just the tonic I needed to help me get over my recent illness, although I'm not going to lie, I'm shattered after today's shoot. It was well worth ith, though, plus me and  @MillerCorner  may have a big road trip on the cards....
