Every time movie industry announces upcoming lineup, I feel conflicted. While I’m excited for upcoming films and series, the way they present them all at once like a full-course dinner menu makes me think about the nature of the modern franchise. It’s like being told my life is predetermined. I hate that it controls me to achieve some measure of balance between supply and demand. It’s frustrating because I know I’m gonna watch and enjoy them nonetheless. Gosh, I hate the Force. 🙃

Hope everyone is doing well. I just want to talk about subtitles in my videos. First, I’d like to thank everyone who has added subtitles to my videos before. Thank you so much for your hard work. You helped me and a lot of people who rely on subtitles. 

As some of you know, YouTube’s community contributions to CC is not accessible anymore due to issues with spam/abuse. That means viewers can no longer submit subtitles to videos on YouTube. Right now, only creators can add CC to their videos. I get a lot of requests asking me to add subtitles. I wish I could but I’m not C-3PO and I need viewer’s help to add CC in multiple languages. Captions are very helpful to people with hearing disability and those who don’t know the language of the video. So I hope YouTube offer an alternative soon. I will continue to add English subtitles so that you can at least use crappy auto-translation.

For those who still want to create subtitles for my videos, you can send me subtitle files (.srt, .sbv, .sub, .mpsub, .lrc or .cap). I will add your subtitles and give credit in the video description. Here is a link for you to download English subtitle files. I think this will make your work easier.

It’s been two years since I started this channel. I remember I was so happy to reach 100+ subscribers a year ago. 

Well, here we are. Over 20,000? Even Master Yoda doesn't have a Midichlorian count that high.
 Seriously, I can’t believe it! I never really expected my channel to grow so quickly.
