The best thing about art(and in our case, cinema) is that a single piece of work can have million different interpretations and opinions. Each of us *experiences* a film differently, and from the difference of opinion there stems the spark of discussion.
As for Malaikottai Vaaliban, while the grand ambition of the filmmaker cannot be denied, it didn't work for me personally. But I've been reading all of your comments on my video and it's amazing to see how so many of you are vouching for the film so passionately with such great points and I've probably enjoyed the comments more than the film itself.
Also loved our very own @NonaPrince 's views on it and I'm glad he liked it. If you liked the film too, you'll find plenty to relate with his video(if you haven't watched it already)
Long live cinema.

Will take a little longer before i get back to posting videos but if there's ONE THING I'd recommend you to do before the end of the year is this: go watch '12th Fail' on the big screen

Minimalist yet deeply impactful style of filmmaking, dialogues that slap as hard as the world cup loss, one of the best performances in post-2000s Hindi Cinema by Vikrant Massey and the hunger of millions of young Indians made so palpable on screen that you can almost smell the honesty and taste the sweat of hardwork & sincerity

Cherry on top: houseful show in Chennai weeks after its release🍰

If you need even a little bit of inspiration for anything you're trying to do in life, this film will light up a 🔥 under your butt

If you've already watched, tell me your thoughts👇

A bit early to talk about it, but for those of you who support my channel here, I'm gonna be mostly missing from this space for a while. I don't know when I'll be back but it's going to be the craziest phase of my life yet which I'm definitely not prepared for. Will definitely talk about it when I'm ready and have words to express.
Just need your good vibes and wishes :') Thank you for all your love until now and I hope I'm back sooner than later:)

Buried deep in the Netflix archives are some hidden gems which didn't get the hype they deserve

One of them is Hansal Mehta's Faraaz, a solid hostage thriller based on a true incident, delving into the darkness and light of religion

Watched it yet?

Shocked to hear about the passing of Vinit Masram, the man behind @CinemaBeyondEntertainment and one of the biggest inspirations for any young creator in the world of film content. And to think of everything that lay ahead of him in the near future, all the things he was going to achieve...just heartbreaking.

Condolences to everyone who's been impacted by his work/friendship.
