Janata Dal (Secular) in Karnataka has suspended MP Prajwal Revanna and issued a show-cause notice over sexual abuse allegations by multiple women. 

The decision came during the JD(S) core committee meeting. 

Prajwal Revanna faces charges in an alleged sexual harassment case filed on April 28. 

The case has been registered under sections 354A, 354D, 506, and 509 of the IPC on charges of sexual harassment, intimidation and outraging the dignity of a woman.

"I don't care" — UP Class 10 Board topper Prachi Nigam shuts down trolls who mocked her facial hair.

Mamta, Nigam’s mother, said she felt bad after people trolled her daughter but that she did not let the trolls affect Nigam.

“However God has made me, I am okay with it. For those who feel there is a difference, it doesn’t matter. Even Chanakya was trolled, and he did not care. Similarly, I also don’t care and will focus on my studies," Nigam said.

Separated by a single-lane road, the next house belongs to the victim’s family.

In Hathras, locals refer to the incident as “bitiya kand” and people say the district that was earlier known for its production of heeng (asafoetida), Holi colours and gulal powders, shot to infamy after the incident.

But with the elections underway, no candidate is openly speaking about the incident.
