Today marks my 10th year on YouTube! A huge thank you to everyone that's supported me over the years! I'm so very thankful! ♡ It's been a journey, quite a lengthy one. It has been a blast so far, it has also been horrendously stressful at times, but overall I am so very very grateful to be able to do this for a living and to be able to sustain a channel (with your help ♡) for over 10 long years!! I started back in 2013. One evening while chatting with my significant other and complaining that I couldn't find any relaxing music on YouTube, to help with sleep. They suggested "why don't you just make your own?" and the rest is history. The first three years I uploaded and made videos as a hobby, two videos a week. Finally, after three years I was able to quit my full-time retail job! I worked in a giant freezer most of the time and it was awful. I have huge admiration for retail workers, those jobs are tough. After 10 years of working retail it was time to begin my YouTube journey. It was a gamble a first. The channel thankfully was just starting to gain some interest, I made a little bit of revenue.... just enough to pay bills. So I moved into my in-laws (TYSM for having us there!) and got to work. Oh, I almost forgot... The channel name was inspired by a trumpet sound that my computer used to make when there was an error. It was a very amusing sound that made us chuckle, and so my significant other made the suggestion to call it "Cat Trumpet." If you're wondering if you should start a channel, absolutely! It's time consuming but rewarding. The positives outweigh the negatives for sure! I did consider retiring a few times over the last few years, but now I'm feeling re-energized, eternally thankful and so very happy to have such great support from you! Thank you so much ♡ Let's see if we can make it to 20 years!! CAT ♡
