So, who's excited to see Lewis Hamilton get accused of being a Newey Merchant from 2026?

BREAKING: NEWEY IS LEAVING RED BULL

What an incredible run he's had with the team, and achieved something incredible of taking a midfield team to the front. On top of an incredible career before that.

Also there's no statement on him retiring as he's shifting fully to working on the RB17 for the remainder of the time. Although him finishing in the first quarter of 2025 likely means they've come to an agreement that he can't start in a new team until the end of 2025, which would be crucial for Red Bull.

I was sure he was going to retire, but this does look more and more like a move to somewhere else, and I still think that place is logically Ferrari.

The question for Red Bull now is whether the new team, the team working full time on the cars, that's been built to work when Newey leaves, can actually function without him. Especially into a new regulation cycle.

It's had to believe the amount of incredible designs that Marcello Gandini created during his life, I only realised in the past week that he passed away in March, what an incredible legacy he left.

My favourite by far was, of course, the Lamborghini Miura.

TLDR: I've been dying to cover more automotive stuff in the last while, and not be restricted to F1, so while this channel will absolutely continue to cover F1 at it's core, there'll be more content around other sports and just the pinnacle of automative, any stories from the world of 4 wheels that I want to tell. I know this won't suit everyone, but I hope some of you enjoy the new, broader content.

F1 will still be covered, and the live streams will continue to be about F1!

In F1 the teammate is the most important benchmark for a driver. Thus here is the percentage of points that Hamilton's teammates scored in each season against him.

No real point to this other than just pure interest. Let me know if you'd like to see another driver next!

Alonso:
2007 - 50%
[Note: These points not counted towards constructors as McLaren was Disqualified.]

Kovalainen:
2008 - 35%
2009 - 30%

Button:
2010 - 47.1%
2011 - 54.3%
2012 - 49.7%

Rosberg:
2013 - 47.5%
2014 - 45.2%
2015 - 45.9%
2016 - 50.3%

Bottas:
2017 - 45.6%
2018 - 37.7%
2019 - 44.1%
2020 - 38.9%
2021 - 36.8%

Russell:
2022 - 53.39%

Hulk Podium incoming. I'm going to have to do a livestream over the weekend (I was going to wait till next week to work on the website over the weekend) because between this and Newey, there's so much to discuss.

It will be incredible to relive the early 2000's.

A world where printers are still useful and Ferrari are dominating F1.
