Hey everyone!

The 2nd episode of our Late Modern series should be out by next week! It will feature a ton of content going over the Americas from around 1800 to 1914!

It will cover the Latin American Wars of Independence, and life afterwards during the 19th century, including conflicts like the French Invasion of Mexico and the Mexican Revolution.

We then focus on the history of the United States in 8 parts! From its founding and the Federalist Era, to the War of 1812, the Jacksonian Era, the Civil War Era, American Indian Wars and the Old West, Gilded Age of robber barons, and beyond into the 20th century!

We also go over the history of Canada during this time, and what led to Confederation.

Stunning “hologram” ring. It was found in the grave of a Roman noblewoman in a necropolis near the city and is believed to depict her son Titus who passed away. It dates to around 2000 years ago!

According to tradition on this day 2777 years ago Romulus founded the eternal city. 🏛️

Hey everyone!

Thanks so much to all those who passed by for the Premiere on Sunday! It’ll be a while before there’s another that long but the next regular episode will be released as a Premiere as well! There will be an update on that video soon!

For now let’s relax a bit and honor the anniversary of a day with NO NEWS! In 1930 the BBC Radio news bulletin stated “There is no news”, followed by 15 minutes of piano.

Hey everyone!

Hope you all stop by for the Premiere tomorrow! It will run from 12pm EDT until a bit after 7pm taking you through the early modern period (1500 to 1800) from after the Middle Ages until the end of the Napoleonic Wars touching ALL OVER THE WORLD! Stick around until the end for some updates!

In the meantime check out the Lion of Gripsholm Castle, given as a gift to King Frederick I of Sweden in 1731. But the taxidermist had never seen a lion before and based his reconstruction on historical artwork. This is the result…
