Craftsman based in Seoul, Korea. "Ape Object" was started in 2019 by sculptor Lee Jung-hyun in Seoul, Korea. Based on traditional sculpting methods, he produces jewelry and objects for personal possession and appreciation. - Hand Carving based on Craftsmanship - All the Artworks of "Ape Object" carved according to the traditional method of sculpture. Dots and lines made during the sculpting process become numerous cross-sections and eventually form a single shape. Sensation and experience of the fingertip are tools to make this happen. This process reflects the artist’s individuality and aesthetic consciousness. All creations are cast using the ‘Lost-Wax’ technique and finished in the hands of ”Ape Object”.
