The SPARC program is supported by the NIH Common Fund to accelerate development of therapeutic devices and identify neural targets for bioelectronic medicine—modulating electrical activity in nerves to help treat diseases and conditions, by precisely adjusting organ function. The SPARC Portal helps facilitate autonomic neuroscience research by hosting digital resources, including datasets, maps, and computational studies that focus on the role of the autonomic nervous system in controlling organ function. SPARC Portal resources are generated by SPARC program-supported research projects, with the long-term goal of enabling contributions by the larger community. We continually add new datasets, maps, and computational studies and build new functionality to access and interact with those resources. We are pleased to present SPARC program and Portal educational videos to contribute to a community of followers among SPARC awardees and the general scientific community.
