Dear Friends, Tomorrow, before Christmas, there will be a kind of different video... A Christmas Market and Town video from one of the italian towns Closer to the border with.... Austria! The first video will be the one in ***Vipiteno Sterzing*** but filmed some little more with the few days available. I was there this weekend and it was just breathtaking to say the least... I hoped this would be a good final "Ending" for this Year and as a final message of "Merry Christmas & Happy New Year" to all of You. Dear Friends, the last weekend we were blessed here in central Italy with amazing October weather: the sky just looked even more blue than the usual and the sun had that typical reflections of "Ottobrate" as we call them, those fine and sunny "October days". The summer of 2022 is slowly becoming e memory that's distancing itself more and more from the autumm days we're living in, it seems. Always enjoyed filming in Autumn/Fall and in Springtime; there are such vibrant colours. This town is located at the border between Lazio (Latium) and Umbria regions and saying it's charming and beautiful isn't saying the whole truth. This is a GEM of a town that I very much adored. A **Grazie** to the Old Lady ---------------------------------------- Dear Friends, it's been quite a while since I posted something here, and well, today, while browsing the photos taken during this last summer of 2022, I saw these two I shot with my mobile phone ...and suddenly I remembered what happened that evening. I was already driving back home after having seen, filmed and experienced truly beautiful places in this stunning "white-coloured" region of Puglia / Apulia. The mind wandered in thoughts, as my car wandered on the hot asphalt under that special southern mediterranean summer sun; we both were ready to unfortunately unpack once again the equipment, to be back "in the old routine" and to collect these memories for some future remembering (perhaps not the car!). Before leaving though, I just saw that I forgot my usual bottles of water that I keep always with me.... well , let's stop at the first town I said to myself; there must be a bar somewhere or a fountain perhaps to refill them, no? Well.....neither one of those was there in this (at that time) unknown-to-me town... I parked the car, wandered around... not a single soul, not a single bar and... not a single fountain of some fresh water to refill me and my thirst. And so I wandered around (keeping faith to the name of this little channel) and while walking on the first street I saw (on the right of that photo with the building!), I saw an old lady watching me... a guy walking around with 2 empy small plastic bottles of water at 2pm under a full Apulian summer. Taken more by pity than by amusement I'm sure, she asked me if I wanted her to refill those. I hurriedly replied that it would have been wonderful but I didn't know how to thank her. Well... some minutes passed by and she didn't show up... after some time, she came back with 2 small plastic bottles, but this time they looked different, colour and all. And then I discovered... they were 2 unpacked, unopened and absolutely frozen bottles of water (1 sparkling and 1 natural even!) and she just said: ".... c'mon take those, they're much better than to refill the others!..." I told her I didn't really know how to thank her and she said to not mind at all. I hesitated and thought of doing something... but I didn't have any idea how to thank her, so I repeated that while walking back to my car... with 2 brand new fresh (frozen!) water bottles in my hands. I went back to the car, looked around a little bit, found the town very fascinating but had to go away, but took those 2 (rather crappy) photos. The car, and myself, sprinted back to the Highway in order to cover the many hours needed to go back home. That town's name was.... "Muro Leccese". Dear Old Lady, I don't know your name, and I couldn't thank you enough for such kindness that day and I hope I can thank you Here on Youtube as to fullfill the promise to do it. GRAZIE Signora! :)

We're in Japan!! 私たちは日本にいます！! Dear Friends, I'm very very happy to announce that the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo, Japan, has chosen some of the videos to show in their amazing upcoming Event in Tokyo, that will take place from May 21st to May 22nd. The event is named "Italia, Amore Mio!" and it's the biggest event in Asia for the Made in Italy, with more than 50.000 visitors, more than 60 brands and lots of guests from Italy. The main theme this year is named: "Go to... Italy!" and.... to show a little part of the boot-shaped country, some of the videos of "OUR" channel will be showed at the event!!!
