Gale Force Ladies Billfish Tournament at Pacific Fins Resort Day 1 Recap 🐟 The ladies headed out bright and early in search of primarily sailfish while we followed closely behind on the camera boat and got a little fishing in ourselves 🎣 We had many experienced anglers and beginners fishing the pacific waters off Iztapa Guatemala 🇬🇹 Our top team caught 6 self-hooked sails today to take home the Day 1 win 🥇

Did you know Peacock Bass are not actually a bass  🦚  Peacock bass belong to the cichlid family, which is known for its diversity and colorful members 🌈 This fish was caught on our 18' Hewes in the South Florida canal systems 🐟

Did you know? Blackfin tunas are known for their incredible speed, often reaching up to 40 miles per hour 🏃🏼‍♀️ I'm not surprised as we normally catch these guys trolling a few knots faster than we would for mahi  🎣

Happy to be back on land after our last fishing tournament for the season 🐟 We are protecting our chestnut tree’s one tube at a time 🌱🤍 Growing tubes act as mini greenhouses for these tree’s by not only protecting the seedlings with it’s physical barrier but also by creating a controlled microclimate to promote growth and health 💪🏼
