If I were to title this illustration from the perspective on Monsieur RoO (my dog), I would call it "Home Alone." Hahaha, I like to imagine that dogs and cats have very fun secret lives when we're not around :) 

I had THE most fun painting this little scene, from the dog biscuits & forgotten collar to the rainy garden and warm bubble bath, all of it felt sweet and light. For the sticker-- I just really love daisies and I thought it would be nice to stick them on things : )

I've been on a journey of learning how to paint traditionally and I feel these pieces show slow and steady progress-- the flower painting is my most favorite piece of artwork I've ever made! Honestly, I have no idea where it came from or how I painted it, I simply put brush to paper and it appeared. Making this piece was therapy-- from the chaotic brush strokes of the background to the intricate floral details, every part of the process was a journey, a question & an answer.

I miss you!

I've been working on a Bookshelf Tour of ALL THE BOOKS I OWN. It's turned out to be a rather big project...I had no idea that I own so very many books! That being said, I do not think I'll finish editing the video in time to post today-- Perhaps this is a sill question, but would you rather me post the video tomorrow (Saturday July 23rd) or next Friday (July 29th, to keep to my Friday schedules)?

Surprise!!!  @christy-anne-jones  and I did another video together and it's officially live on her channel if you'd like something to watch on this cozy Sunday : ) 
This video focuses on the many ways to practice self-care when feeling overwhelmed and burnt out. These past two + years have been so demanding and emotionally and mentally draining. It's heartbreaking that so many of us hardly have the time or energy to take care of ourselves...and then we feel guilty for "indulging" in something purely for fun or for our own benefit. We have to take care of ourselves! And, self-care does not have to be extravagant or expensive or time-consuming. 

To put it shortly, we deserve to enjoy our lives <3

I really enjoyed making these videos with Christy! We are good friends and it makes me so happy to see so many of you equally as excited about both our friendship and the videos we've done together-- thank you so much ☀️

A very exciting video is in the works and will go live THIS evening (6/17). I collaborated with the one and only  @christy-anne-jones   to solve one of the greatest murder mysteries of all time, Agatha Christie's, "And Then There Were None." The video is currently exporting & uploading-- once it's proofed, I will schedule a premiere for us all :) Thank you so much for being here! I'M SO EXCITED!
