Sir Creek is a 96km estuary that lies between Kutch in Gujarat and Pakistan's Sindh province. It is known for its quality seafood. But it is also a disputed land. And for fishermen in the area, survival has been difficult. Why is this area disputed? Both India and Pakistan have engaged in multiple talks over Sir Creek. After the partition in 1947, Kutch stayed with India, while Sindh went to Pakistan. India claims the boundary should lie in the middle of the creek.
