Darya (not her real name) was forced to leave Afghanistan when the Taliban took control of the country in August. In this video by BBC My World she shares what it's been like having to leave the country she calls home. Many Afghans had to leave the country at short notice and leave behind their belongings when the hardline militants came to power. Taliban fighters captured their first provincial capital on 6 August - and by 15 August, they were at the gates of the capital, Kabul. Their swift advance prompted tens of thousands of people to flee their homes, many arriving in the Afghan capital, others heading for neighbouring countries. Others, such as Darya were smuggled out of the country for their own safety. And there was chaos in Kabul, as President Ashraf Ghani fled the country and thousands of his countrymen and women tried to do likewise.
