Set up your iPhone: Place your iPhone on a tripod or a stable surface. Make sure the camera lens is at eye level with the subject. Turn on Cinematic Mode: Open the Camera app on your iPhone and select the "Video" mode. Swipe the mode switch to "Cinematic" mode. This mode will allow you to shoot video with a shallow depth of field, giving your footage a more cinematic look. Adjust the focus and exposure: Tap on the subject's face on the screen to set the focus and exposure. You can also swipe up or down on the screen to adjust the exposure manually. Use external microphone: Connect an external microphone to your iPhone to improve the audio quality of the interview. A lavalier mic or a directional mic will work best. Edit your footage: Once you have finished filming, transfer the footage to your computer and edit it using video editing software. You can add music, graphics, and cut the footage to create a compelling interview. By following these steps, you can shoot an epic interview with an iPhone in cinematic mode. Just remember to plan your shots, use an external microphone, and edit your footage to create a professional-looking video.
