This video is a compilation of my favorite cues from James Horner's latest work on "The Karate Kid".
There seems to be two main themes in the score. One I will describe as the "romantic / emotional theme", and the other as the "powerful theme". The latter theme reminds me of the verse portion of "Avatar's" main theme, and while good, is not as interesting to me as a Horner fan. I prefer the "romantic theme" and it's showcased heavily throughout the video. Personally, I feel it was underused in the score.
Some of the song names were shortened and the actual names are listed below:
"Leaving Detroit"
"Kung Fu Heaven"
"I Want To Go Home - The Forbidden City"
"Mei Ying's Kiss"
"Journey To The Spiritual Mountain"
"Dre's Gift and Apology"
