We continue heading southbound out of our anchorage at Hospital Point and leave Portsmouth and Norfolk Virginia. This anchorage really is a winner - there are quite a few dinghy docks and a ton to do in the neighboring cities. This afternoon the Norfolk Southern 7 Railroad bridge begins its scheduled maintenance so we must make it through otherwise we will be stuck for another 4 days!
