The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) on April 9 released videos showing what it said were its ambulance teams transferring casualties to a hospital after an Israeli blast struck a house in central Gaza, killing five and injuring one. “On the eve of Eid al-Fitr, Palestine Red Crescent ambulance teams transferred the bodies of five martyrs and one injured individual due to the Israeli occupation's bombing of a house in the Zawaida area in central #Gaza,” read a caption posted with the videos on X, formerly Twitter. In the videos, PRCS staff were seen transferring children casualties to a crowded Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir al-Balah. Reuters was able to partially verify the location from a nearby signboard, buildings and the hospital’s interior and flooring that matched file imagery, and Reuters’ cover also showed the same location.
