Elizabeth Gillies and Ariana Grande gave their fans a little Christmas present this year. They have both recorded their rendition of a Christmas song "Chestnuts". A video was made for the song that showed both of them recording the song and having fun in the studio. The video was uploaded to Ariana's YouTube channel. Couldn't have been a better choice. Ariana starts the song with her high and gentle voice but when Liz starts singing, that's when I start really enjoying it. Remember I said that Liz's voice had changed on her acoustic covers, well, it's back! Liz has shown one of her best vocal work in this cover! With Ariana's great voice and the peaceful instruments added to Liz, this cover is defiantly an unforgettable cover. I've never heard this song before and it was nice that they didn't cover "Baby, It's Cold Outside" cause too many people covered it this year (like Leon Thomas & Victoria Justice, Haley Reinhart & Casey Abrams, Dia Frampton, etc.)... Near the end, both of them add a bit of range to their voice and end the song amazingly. The video is great and very sweet as well. I give it 4.5/5 Stars. I own nothing!
