Italdesign has unveiled its latest concept, the Quintessenza, merging the elegance of a GT car with the functionality of a pickup truck, creating a unique vehicle designed for stargazing adventures. Although it remains a concept, the Quintessenza showcases a dynamic blend of automotive styles, paired with cutting-edge electric vehicle technology.
This sizable concept car outstrips the smallest Ford F-150 in length, boasting a 127.6-inch wheelbase. It offers a luxurious interior, accommodating four seats divided by a central console that not only controls the infotainment but also features a refrigerated mini-bar for wine enthusiasts.
The vehicle's rear section is where the magic happens for stargazers. The rear seats can recline once the hardtop is removed, transforming the space into an open-air observatory. Additionally, the center console can slide towards the occupants, making the mini-bar conveniently accessible.
On the exterior, the Quintessenza stands out with its rugged yet sleek design, including 24-inch wheels beneath chunky fender flares and scissor doors that extend the full length of the vehicle. It's powered by a 150-kilowatt-hour battery and three electric motors, delivering a formidable 777 horsepower. While Italdesign has not detailed its towing capabilities, the Quintessenza is primarily celebrated for its innovative design and luxurious appeal.
