I tried epoxy to flatten the warped bottom of the gantry risers due to welding. The layer of tin foil on the bottom was used to stop the epoxy from sticking to the spoilboard. The wood gantry stands are made out of pine 2x4 and seemed to be holding the weight of the gantry well. If I were to make those stands over again, I would have made them out of box shapes to make it easier to clamp and glue.
