This video will take you to the Ghost Town of Auraria and to the favorite tourist town of Dahlonega, Georgia. It was in Northeast Georgia where Americas first Gold Rush occurred. We will tour the Dahlonega Gold Rush Museum and then visit the gravesite of Benjamin Parks, Jr. who is credited for stumbling across the first nugget of gold, thus beginning the settling of many to search for the Gold. So please join me on my adventure. I want to thank the Dahlonega Gold Rush Museum for allowing me to video inside the museum. If you are ever in the area, it is a must to visit this museum to learn about this great moment in Georgia history.
