Here we have a skid steer with a skeleton bucket loading rocks directly from a pile into the rock crusher. The rock crusher is being powered by a 1997 CaseIH MX100. We have the PTO running around 600 RPMs which seems to be a good speed for crushing with the least amount of shake or vibration. The conveyor is loading a tandem end dump trailer. The rocks and stones are coming from piles that have been picked from the surrounding cultivated fields. The skeleton bucket works great at getting the last of the topsoil separated prior to being crushed. This is a 16" x 24" (450 mm x 600 mm) Jaw rock crusher. We bought the jaw assembly new in 2016 from Jason at Mount Baker Mining and Metals. we have the jaw set to produce 3" (75mm) minus gravel. This particular time with the pile being 300ft (100M) away from the unit we are crushing between 15 to 20 tons per hour.
