Sit back and turn up the sound on this one. We took a trip to Santa Barbara instead of looking at an anvil in Templeton. I was really excited about this because it's the first time that I drove on highway 33, something I wanted to do for years. It starts on South Union Ave., in Bakersfield, passes through Taft, Maricopa, Ojai and Ventura before taking a tour of State Street in Santa Barbara and ending on Stearn's Wharf Pier over looking the beach in Santa Barbara.
The footage is pretty raw. I didn't edit out the stop at the Burger King in Taft or where we hit the big bug and I cleaned the windshield, This is also the first full Widescreen HD video I've rendered.
Oh yeah, there's an annoying reflection from the sun on the windshield that irritated me to no end. I came close to deleting the whole project because of it. Then, I learned to live with it and moved on with my life.
