Thank you so much to everyone for all of the great and helpful tips and tricks from the previous video!! Very much appreciated, and I feel much more equipped moving forward. I admittedly don't know a lot of the construction language, and am not much of a math brain (I did do well in high school, but that was a long time ago!), so some of it was a bit challenging to understand just by reading. When we go out to the cliff, I will go through some of the different suggestions and things I learned for the birds mouths cuts.
In this video I explain why I'm making more rafters, regardless of having troubles with the birds mouth cuts. I mill up some nice cedar timers for some new rafters at each gable end. I also give a little tour of my dog chalet, load up my lumber and get ready to head out to the cliff again.
Thanks for watching and I will see you in the next video!
