Following the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, protests against racial injustice have been organised around the world. But of course this isn’t the first time anti-racism demonstrations have taken place. Many are asking – is this time different and will anything change?
In the three weeks since protests began, new laws for police officers have been introduced, tech companies have changed policy and statues of slave traders have been toppled. In this video BBC reporter Joice Etutu takes us through some of the changes that the protests have achieved already.
