No other phone that's been more influential since the original iPhone. For the past decade we've seen this product transcend the laughs it first inspired as a concept, into becoming the cornerstone of the modern smartphones and tablet, even if Apple will never admit to it. I was also one of the non-believers, who never thought that such a behemoth would ever graduate the concept phase, only to see myself use every single iteration that Samsung has made, since version 2. But, what is it that that made this idea so special? Why is it that even when Samsung has decided to relegate its importance to making this more of the secondary iteration of whatever Galaxy S we see that year, most of us still want one. In retrospect I think it's because of the fact that even if "less is more," that doesn't really apply to smartphones. The Galaxy Note embodied a broader ideal where your phone was no longer just an internet communicator as Steve Jobs once dubbed it. Principles like one-handed use took a back seat as a larger canvas proved to be more useful and immersive for the new era of mobile consumption. Heck if I showed you our analytics, 70% of you watch our videos on your phones; a far cry from the way things were a decade ago. And yet I think the reason why the Galaxy Note has been so timeless is because this is still the only phablet that's more than just a larger screen. It's one of the reasons why I come back to it year over year as one of my favorite daily drivers, and even if I'd consider this Galaxy Note 10+ to be one of the most polarizing variants I've used, it's always great to see how well it's aged.
