The 1st MBSE Summit organized by LieberLieber Software together with the Johannes Kepler University Linz (CDL-MINT) at the International Academy Traunkirchen am Traunsee (June 23 - 24, 2022) was a great success with about 40 invited participants and brought the MBSE community closer together. Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) lends itself to keep up with the growing complexity in the product lifecycle. Indeed, it manages to stay on top of both cost and innovation pressures as well as the growing requirements around safety, traceability and quality.
While the afternoon and evening of June 23 will be entirely dedicated to social interaction, the official program of the 1st MBSE Summit in Traunkirchen will start on June 24 with the two keynotes by Robert Karban and Klaus Zeman. Afterwards, five working groups formed in the areas of education, research and future application areas, industry and MBSE tools, collaboration engineering, and security. Planning for a continuation of the event in 2023 is already underway.
Oliver Kipf, specialist for healthcare and enterprise architecture management: "With Traunkirchen, the MBSE Summit 2022 was exactly the right location to establish contacts and build networks. The exchange about model-driven approaches and processes and related aspects such as data security, interoperability and compliance across the boundaries of individual industries was very interesting and informative. This gives me inspiration to further pursue and deepen model-driven approaches in the development of digital health solutions."
